Nice to see you back here again!
Looking forward to seeing more posts from you; you have a pretty cool journal here.
I also liked the Pepsi/Justin Timberlake one.. haha. Anyways, have a wonderful week!
Many of you spent your Sunday afternoon watching the NFL Championship Games as the 2 teams for the Super Bowl were decided. New England was somewhat lucky in their game with San Diego, but give them credit as they played without LaDanian Tomlinson almost the whole game. The New York Giants continued their road winning beating Green Bay in the NFL's now third coldest game placing second to the Chargers in the 1981 AFC game against Cincinnati.
A controller is finally working in the upstairs TV room of my house. It is moving up and down and back and forth. Having to put codes in is kind of tough to do. My mother is enduring a cold, we had two straight nights of fast food and Pizza and Donuts for Breakfast on Sunday morning because of it. We will have a home cooked meal on Monday.
If my dad ran for political office, he could enact something that every holiday would find everybody off, even the day before or day after the holiday. He asked me if the garbage people would be coming because it would be the Martin Luther King holiday, but the garbage people did have to work. If every holiday had the luxury like Christmas, not a lot people would make money. Making money at this time needs to be a luxury now with the economy the way it is and gasoline prices which has seen a small downturn though. I'll save more on holidays whenever I write my own book.
Today, not only is there a Super Bowl Poll at my Tripod web site, but also today there is a new feature entitled "Born and or raised in the Ohio Valley" which will have a list of famous people that were in Wheeling and surrounding areas. The list right now includes Sports stars, some actors and actresses and George Armstrong Custer, who fought in one of our early wars and was born in New Rumley, OH which is outside of Cadiz, OH where Clark Gable who your parents and grandparents remember seeing as the lead actor in "Gone with the Wind" was born there.
I am now hearing from a few of you. Those of you who access MySpace may have seen my friend status about having to hear from friends over the weekend. I did gain 2 new MySpace friends over the weekend also.
