Nice to see you back here again!
Looking forward to seeing more posts from you; you have a pretty cool journal here.
I also liked the Pepsi/Justin Timberlake one.. haha. Anyways, have a wonderful week!
I have put up a brand new poll at my tripod web site that I wanted to share with you before you vote on this. Wheeling Park High School is located up a hill taking a right from Wheeling Park. The high school opened in 1976 and when it opened from the way I understand there were not amenities other than it being a big high school. But in 1983, when students who had been in Lincoln School, which had been an Ohio County School for the handicapped were moved up to the High School, an expansion of the High School was needed and during the time of the expansion they added a swimming pool to the High School. It meant, no longer practice would have to be held at the Chambers YMCA in Elm Grove. There are 2 things that has since not been put up at the High School and there has been talk of this taking place, The first one is a Performing Arts Center, which could hold the Festival of Sound and Wheeling Symphony concerts depending on the future of the Capitol Music Hall and the other is a Football Stadium which has been talked about and sure Park's football team practices at the High School, but track meets are held there. Rumors are that if successes are made at Wheeling Island Race Track, the stadium may be purchased by them, but again they are rumors.
The twist is this: There are 2 answers of each. If you graduated from Wheeling Park or the High Schools that came together to be Park, you will vote from WPHS, etc. and if you graduated from like let's say John Marshall, Wheeling Central, Bellaire, etc. you will vote not a WPHS, etc. grad. If you have any questions, e-mail me!
This week's highlights: I still await word on the health of Lara Marshall. I will tell my blog story of the king situation from 20 years ago which was part of a busy weekend for me and my family, It will be told Monday or Tuesday.
