The Super Tuesday elections have ended and now the next thing to happen is this day as Lent has begun with Ash Wednesday. Many people will before or during their lunch will go to their Catholic Church if they are Catholic to be given ashes on their forehead. Two years back, the Catholic Spirit took a picture of Samantha McGee supposedly on her lunch break receiving the rite. Also, the day starts the abstaining of meat Ash Wednesday and every Friday which this year will run through March 21, the earliest that I can recall. I have to wait to eat Chicken that's in a bag in the refrigerator until Thursday.

I am still waiting word on the status of Lara Marshall. A phone call was made Monday, but there was no word from her dad who stayed up in Wheeling while his wife was down with Lara.

The rains are going off and on up here with flooding concerns as a result at this time. I had a dickens of a time locating my umbrella in the house Tuesday.
