Nice to see you back here again!
Looking forward to seeing more posts from you; you have a pretty cool journal here.
I also liked the Pepsi/Justin Timberlake one.. haha. Anyways, have a wonderful week!
As my situation with the slow modem on my new computer remains a concern, I have not been able to really concentrate on adding new things to my Tripod web site, other than new polls. Please be aware that there is the polls, there are many of you that need to sign my guestbook, I have NOT received 1 guestbook entry in 2008. There also is "Who was who in the Picture" where you can view a picture of the 1983-84 Bridge Street Junior High band and more. Please be sure to take advantage of what I have at the moment until things straighten out.
Those of you viewing my blog on 360.yahoo may see some blogs missing. I noticed this on Saturday night while on-line. Be sure to go to my MySpace page or bravejournal page which can be accessed on my Tripod site from time to time if some of my blogs are unexpectedly missing for a short time, they are the same entries that you see at 360.yahoo.
The state of Georgia has been hit by wild weather. As many of you are aware, the Atlanta area was hit by tornadoes on Friday with the Georgia Dome losing roof pieces and moving SEC or ACC basketball Tournament games to Georgia Tech where only family members of athletes, cheerleaders, students of schools and the media are allowed to attend the Tournament. Then according to Carolyn, a 360.yahoo friend, a power outage hit Saturday during the annual St. Patrick's Day Party at around 10:00 P. M. with power restored at 1:00 A. M. Sunday.
West Virginia will be in the NCAA Basketball Tournament starting Thursday playing the Arizona Wildcats. The games, which begin at 12 noon Thursday and Friday on CBS means the interruptions of the Soap Operas on that network. 28 years ago, this day we were determining who was in the Final Four.
Next Sunday's Easter, will be for everyone of you the earliest Easter you'll ever have, the next time Easter will be March 23rd according to Jim Cochran, who covers Marshall County in the Wheeling newspapers will be 2228. Of course, that could change by our future generations.
In closing, Sam DeFillipo, who was the Principal at Wheeling Park High School when it opened it's doors in 1976 until he left the position after the 1982-83 school year died this week at the age of 79. Those who graduated from Wheeling Park in DeFillipo's final year were my cousin, Arley James McGinnis, Jr. and Charlie Frazier, who some nights is the Security Guard when I get done from work.
