Nice to see you back here again!
Looking forward to seeing more posts from you; you have a pretty cool journal here.
I also liked the Pepsi/Justin Timberlake one.. haha. Anyways, have a wonderful week!
As I reported in my blog on Thursday, the modem that was put in my new computer for the internet was only getting 28.8 kbps. There was drama Thursday when I was demanded to call the guy who I purchased the computer from. To be half honest with you, my parents need to realize people who I do business with do usually have families to take care of and that my parents also need to stop pre-judging on almost every matter. But onto the modem story. On Friday, I got in touch with the guy and told me the internet provider may be the place to find out what is going on, so I contacted them when I got home Friday night and they told me that the weather may be playing a factor in why the speed is very slow. The web provider also suggested that I purchase a US Logistics modem, even though the guy I purchased it from would be happy to replace it. Of course I was not home Wednesday at the time he came here because of my work schedule. I am taking this one day at a time. The weather by the way on Monday was in the 60's and then it rained almost all week here in Wheeling and there was also a threat of flooding in the area this week also. I assume the guy tested it Monday and seemed to have no problems.
Meanwhile today is the one year anniversary that normalcy changed for about 2 months as I injured my right ankle. I fouled up on what had happened. This I where I mentioned about my parents and pre-judging come into play and worries about missing time and having to work later in the year losing vacations which should NOT be thought about hours after you have gone through something that could have been more serious or even worse. For those of you who were not with me last year at this time, I had surgery the day after this happened, I had returned home 2 days after, it could have been the same day of the surgery and then the doctor who did the surgery didn't return back when he said he would. I only missed a week and a half of work as I had to position my ankle and such. The thing that happened was that a walking light along National Road and Krause Drive had been malfunctioning for several months. When I resumed crossing and walking the street about 3 months later the walking light was fixed. I still feel a little scared from time to time crossing the street. Happily on this Saturday, I stayed at home.
As this blog was being typed, the second session of the 78th West Virginia Legislature is nearing the end of the session which will happen at 12 midnight. About 10 Delegates at the moment will not return to the 100 seat 2-year term office and 7 Senators will not be running in May. Both these numbers you can expect will change in elections in May and November by State Voters. I will view which I hope won't be my last Legislature Today: The Final Hours on Sunday.
In closing, as many of you are aware who live in the Ohio Valley, Hillary Clinton February 27th came to St. Clairsville for her campaign. Long time family friend Linda Gregan got to attend, meet and shake Hillary's hands. This was on a day that visitation took place for my mom's best friend Theresa Catlett and the deaths of Myron Cope and William F. Buckley, Jr.
