Nice to see you back here again!
Looking forward to seeing more posts from you; you have a pretty cool journal here.
I also liked the Pepsi/Justin Timberlake one.. haha. Anyways, have a wonderful week!
The first of two straight days of holiday parties took place Thursday with our Department's Christmas Party. With a wide array of food I had to take 2 plates and a cup of pop down to eat it. I got help from Laura Krause, whose grandmother was my neighbor and had to move this year due to health reasons to have the door open and go to elevator where I had to go from floor 8 where my department is to the first floor where the break room was. One of the main bosses provided the luncheon. I think this was a good idea considering that all employees in other departments can participate in the Holiday Luncheon that will take place on this day at River City. Marlene Myers, a co-worker of mine took chicken wings. It will avoid any drama that happened at my former employer when spoiled chicken wings at a company picnic caused people to fall ill one time.
My former teacher Arlene Kohut sent a Christmas card on Thursday. Kohut, who formerly lived in Washington, PA and lives in West Palm Beach, FL reported that she gave away her Honda CRV to her niece in PA. The car was about 10 years old and has only 10,000 miles. She also reported that Florida weather at this time is well above average and the area where she is is still under a water conservation order. She reported that water conservation might be a way a life for most Florida residents. She was happy with the quiet Hurricane Season for that state.
KDKA was on our TV for the Steelers game. I had reported that counties that are in the CBS affiliate's Pittsburgh TV market were the only ones that were going to see the game and that Wheeling residents had to subscribe to NFL network by Comcast. The Steelers won this game. They win the AFC North if Cleveland loses to Cincinnati. They get a playoff spot, if Tennessee loses to the N. Y. Jets which doesn't look to be really. The possibility could be there that if the Steelers and Tennessee end up with identical records, the tie breakers are Head to Head first, but they didn't play, Conference record is second, but they would both have the same record if the Steelers lost next week and then Common Games where the teams played the same teams on the scheduled finds both grand totalling the same record. Next step would come to the wins of the opponents of all teams these teams won against this year. It could be be very possible and Seattle-Atlanta next week would hold the key.
My sister and her family will be in today. I probably will blog again Christmas Eve, but that is on the outside looking in.
