It seems the New England Patriots were back to their oldselves a little bit on this day as the Steelers lost to them 34-13. It was 17-13 at halftime. The next two weeks it seems will be easy for New England as they will play the Jets and then the Dolphins who are yet to win. I think the Dolphins will win to either Baltimore or Cincinnati. The N. Y. Giants, who will be the Patriots last opponent in the regular season in 1998 denied Denver an undefeated season.

For a second weekend in a row, Saturday night outings were made in the community with the threat of a Winter Weather Advisory.

Stories in the newspapers this weekend found that on Saturday, Ohio gas prices went below $3 a gallon while West Virginia will be increasing to pay for road work. Sunday's paper had a story of another study for the City of Wheeling which could mean the closure of 2 restaurants by tear down of buildings, Vocelli Pizza, with a sit down restaurant and Panda Restaurant, a Chinese Restaurant that I have frequented many times. The Panda Restaurant is not a fancy type of restaurant and really should have been renovated. It is the only Chinese Restaurant Downtown since Peking Garden closed.
